“Just shut up and fuck me, Lucifer.”

Walking into the house that I once dreamt about leaving. Now, I suddenly feel like this is the safety that I’ve been missing for the last few years. Luce’s hand on my back as he walks me through the house, carrying the bag that I packed up before we left L.A.

I follow his motions as the pressure of his hand leads me up the three flights of stairs.

Then I’m following him into a room to the right. The door that sits right next to the wall that he slammed me into three years ago. The room is much bigger than the one I stayed in last time, and my entire apartment in LA could fit into it. The view from this room overlooks the backyard of the house and for the first time, I see how big the grounds of the house actually are.

Feeling his hands on my arms, I look over my shoulder at him and he nods to me. “Everything you need should be in here.” His eyes soften for a second and I think there seems to be something in there that I’ve never seen before. “There are clothes in the closet.” He whispers as he leans in and presses a kiss to the side of my head, and the gentle gesture makes me laugh out. “What’s so funny?”

“You’re almost acting like an actual human.” A small chuckle comes out as he continues to stand behind me.

“Give it time.” I laugh before I walk towards the door on the wall and open it revealing the bathroom.

“Fuck me.” I mutter as I hear Luce laugh from behind me.

“You better be careful talking like that.” He growls into my ear as I feel him walking away from where I stand, still staring into the massive bathroom. I glance over as the door shuts and stare, confused… that is, until I hear the door lock.

“The fuck?” Rushing over to the door, I pull on it, but the knob doesn’t even turn. “WHAT THE FUCK!” I bang on the door after him. “I THOUGHT WE HAD PASSED THIS?” Continuing to pull on the knob as I kick the bottom of the door.

Realizing that somehow I am still his prisoner, locked away in some room as he sees fit.

Soaking in the tub a few hours later, I hear him walk into the room. Looking up at him as he unbuttons the sleeves of his shirt and rolls the sleeves up to his elbows.

“What do you want?” I glare up at him.

“I thought we had passed this attitude?” He raises an eyebrow, with a slight playfulness that ligers in his eyes as he walks closer to me.

“And I thought we had passed keeping me prisoner?” I continue to glare.

“I’m just trying to keep you safe.” He tells me, causing me to laugh out loud.

  “Safe, yeah, okay.”

“I’m serious. You have made some enemies and you do not know how to keep a low profile.”

“I kept a low profile, from you, for 3 years.” He laughs before stalking over to where I lay in the tub and sits down on the edge.

  “No, you didn’t.”

“What?” I snap at him as I look up. A smirk lining his lips as he leans over, nearly hovering over me as I still lay in the water.

“I knew where you were. I knew you were a secretary at that little marketing firm. I knew you were living with Chad.” He laughs out as he leans over further, so close that I can now feel his breath against my face. “I knew where you were the entire time. The only reason I came when I did was I saw the purchase that he made from the jeweler.” A snide smirk still present on his lips.

“I don’t believe you. You wouldn’t have let me stay away with all of your money for that long.” I bait him.

“Little Girl…” he trails off, still not moving back from me. Not answering me.

  “What? It doesn’t make sense.”

“It was never about the money.”

I can feel the shock that I want to express, but that I force down as it still threatens to come up out of my mouth. So, I just continue to stare up at him. “Then what,” pausing before I can gather my words, “what was it about?” Finally able to grasp my bearings, I start again. “Not being able to live with the fact that someone got away from you?” He shakes his head, pulling back.

“You’re not this dense. I’m not fucking playing this game with you.” He snaps as he looks over. Feeling the pressure on my cheeks as he reaches over and grabs my face before pulling me closer to him. “Since the second that you threw a chair at me, you started breaking down my walls. Making your way into my life even if I didn’t fucking want it.” His voice raises as I can feel my eyes widen. “When you sliced my fucking face open and ran. It was only about getting you back, not for the goddamn money, not to fucking profit off selling you, but because as much as you’re a fucking pain in my ass, you’re all I’ve been able to think about for the last 3 goddamn years.”

“Why, why would that cause you not to…” I trail, as I try to speak through a force pursed mouth, not even knowing how I want to finish my sentence.

“That’s the million dollar question.” He shrugs, “If I would have to guess… you’re just as much of a monster as I am.” I suddenly feel like I can’t suck in enough oxygen as I watch his eyes trail down my face. Feeling the heat from his eyes as they linger on my mouth. “I’m not sure what all your issues are.” Furrowing my brows at him and he nods. “Don’t look at me like you’re surprised. You know that you have issues.”

“People rarely call people out like that.” I whisper as he sighs.

“I’ve never been good at sugar coating things, Little Girl.” His voice lowers as he says the words. “Maybe that’s why anyone less than a monster doesn’t pique my interest.” His fingers remove the pressure from my cheeks when he smirks. “But you.” His eyes trail down to my body lying in the water.

“What about me?” I can’t help but ask as the corner of his mouth turns up.

“What about you?” I feel my teeth graze my bottom lip. A slight chuckle comes from him. “You more than pique my interest.” He whispers as I feel myself lean into him. I feel him releasing my face. “I have a meeting that I have to make.” He whispers, still not pulling back, but I can see him resisting from leaning into me.

Smirking, I nod my head. “Busy man.”

  “Very.” He nods his head.

“It’s very time consuming to run an empire.”

“It is,” he continues to whisper. “Is that something that you’re going to have a problem with?”

“Probably,” he smirks at my honesty.

“We’ll have to work on that.” His smirk grows.

“I’m sure we can figure out a compromise.” I tell him as I reach up and pull him into the tub with me. Water spills over from the side of the tub with the movement as he looks at me, shocked. His knees pinning my body to the bottom of the tub. Kneeling over me, he smirks down as his button-down shirt clings to his chest.

“This doesn’t seem like much of a compromise.”

“Sure it is. I got on the plane, didn’t I?” He tilts his head slightly to the side, before leaning over and capturing my lips with his.

“My needy, Little Girl.” He grumbles as he reaches down, quickly unzipping his pants as I wiggle my legs from underneath him and move them to the side of his legs. Hands quickly on my hips, as he picks me up, spinning me around, and forcefully bending me over the side of the tub. Instantly, feeling him stretch me wide as he pushes inside. “Look up.” He growls into my ear, wrapping his hand around my throat and lifting my head up to look into the mirror which sits straight in front of me. Seeing his eyes burn into me from our reflection in the mirror. “You’re needy for me, Little Girl?” Slowly, I nod my head, smirking as he thrusts his hips up into me, breaking my nod as a gasp escapes from my lips and I watch as a smirk spreads along his mouth again. “You like to force my hand?” He growls in my ear between thrusts. “Huh, Little Girl?”

“Ye—'' pausing as the jolting of his hips causes a moan to come out. “Yeah.” It comes out as a whisper. The stinging on my ass strike
s me before I hear the sound echo and I hiss through my teeth as I look back up into the mirror. This time with a full grin on his face as his hand lifts again, and he’s staring down at my ass as he slaps it again.

“Will I have to teach you a lesson?” He asks me, raising his eyebrows in the mirror as I feel his cock slams into my soul. Slowly, I nod my head again. “How’d I know?” He laughs again as I feel the sting and hear the slap on my ass. “See, Little Girl. Normally, I would fuck you hard.” He growls more. “Completely overstimulate you. Make you cum so many times you would sob, because it’s too much for you.” My entire body becomes rigid as I can feel myself edging towards the cliff, about to tumble down into ecstasy. His hand is tightening slightly against my throat as I feel my insides explode. He groans loudly as he erratically thrusts his hips into me faster, gripping a hold of my hips tightly, pinning them to his as I feel his cock pulsate inside, cumming deep inside of me.

I’m empty as I hear the water splash around me again and I see him walking out of the bathroom, water dripping from his suit. “Where are you going?”

“I’ve got to change now. Since someone got my clothes wet.”

“What, no aftercare?” I smirk at him.

Turning around, he looks at me and chuckles. “I guess that’s your part of the compromise.” Sighing, he turns all the way around and walks back to me. His suit is still clinging to his body as he moves. Leaning over, his hand comes around to the back of my neck, pulling my head into his, kissing me gently. The gesture almost makes me laugh. “I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you later.” He whispers as he leans his forehead against mine.

“Did you just apologize?” He laughs out.

“Yeah, it’s something new I’m trying. Just don’t tell anyone.” I smile up at him and he pushes the hair slightly out of my face. “If you promise to do something for me, I’ll promise to not keep you locked in here anymore.”

  “What’s that?” I ask him.

  “Don’t run.”

  “What?”

“If you promise me, you won’t run, the door will stay unlocked. You can have full access to the house, to the grounds. If you want to go out, Ruby and Blaine can go with you.” He pauses, pulling back and looking me in the eyes. “Just promise me you won’t run, okay. I really am just trying to keep you safe.”

“By keeping me on a leash?”

“Oh, I can keep you on a leash if you want me to.” He laughs out before he walks back towards the door.

“I promise.” I call out to him.

“I know you do.” He glances back before he rounds the corner and leaves the bathroom.

Pulling up to the warehouse after having to change because Nyx pulled me into the tub with her this evening.

“You’re late.” Dimitri says to me as I walk into the warehouse.

“Sorry, got a little held up.” Gunner laughs at my side as I explain.

“Is that what we’re calling it now?” Gunner asks, causing me to cut my eyes at him. “Come on, Boss. You’re the one who came out soaking wet.”

“This seems like a much more interesting story.”

“It’s nothing.” I tell him as he picks up the duffle bag hanging it over to me. opening it as Gunner hands over the bag that we have as well.

“Bullshit, it’s the—” cutting my eyes over to Gunner, he stops talking.

  “It’s nothing.” I tell Dimitri.

“Ohhhkay.” He nods. “Let me know when you’re tired of this one.” Glaring over at Dimitri.

“It’s not like that.” Turning around and walking back to the SUV as Dimitri walks back to his Bentley.

Doors shut, we pull off and I smack Gunner in the back of the head. “What the fuck?” He snaps and I continue to glare at him.

“What the fuck is wrong with you?”

  “What?”

“Were you checked out the entire fucking time in LA?”

  “He doesn’t know them.”

“Everyone knows everyone in this world.”

  He shifts uncomfortably.

Pushing the front door open. Internally, I jump as a plate smashes next to my head. “What the fuck?”

“You have the fucking nerve.” Nyx shouts at me as she chucks a vase across the room and it smashes against the wall. Gunner steps in the door behind me and I can finally get a good look at the entryway. Most of the items in the room are knocked over and Blaine sits at the bottom of the staircase, face slightly bruised, and he looks as if he’s given up to the situation.

“What is going on?” I ask him, he looks up sighing as Nyx comes around the corner.

“You are a fucking asshole. This entire time, trying to be nice. What is it you fucking want? Huh? Just to fuck with my head?”

“What are you talking about?” I snap at her, stepping in closer until I can almost touch her and she pushes against me, but I don’t budge.

“Your complete bullshit. Bringing me back here. You pique my interest. I just want to keep you safe.” She tries to mimic my voice. “Here’s a place for you to be safe at… in my whore’s suite.” My eyes widen as I look at her and she laughs, sarcastically. “Yeah, you thought I wouldn’t figure it out?” She shoves me back again. “You thought you could just shove me in your whore’s suite, keep me fucking quiet.” She shoves against me again, but I grasp a hold of her wrists and pull her to me.

“Stop shoving me.” Growling into her, her eyes widen. “If you would like to talk about this like we’re fucking adults. We can go upstairs and talk about it.”

“What, go upstairs to the whore’s suite?” She glares up at me as she hisses between her teeth.

“Lilith.” glaring at her, she glares right back. Groaning, I let go of her wrists, bending over and picking her up, tossing her over my shoulder before I walk up the stairs.

“Fucking put me down.” She shouts as I feel her tiny fists smacking into my back. “You’re a fucking asshole.” She shouts again as she continues to strike my back. Kicking the door open, stalking into her room before I kick the door closed behind me. Moving across the room, I toss her onto the bed before I move over to the edge and glare at her. “Now, do you want to fucking calm the hell down?”

“You’re an asshole.” She snaps at me, as she pushes up to her knees, and walks across the bed. “You think you can just treat whomever however the fuck you want to and they just deal with it.”

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“You make me believe you think I’m different and all the while you’re really just thinking that I’m another one of your whores.” She sinks down to sitting on her feet and looking down, her body hunches in on itself as she brings her knees up to her chest.

Feeling a pain in my chest that I’ve never experienced, I just look at her as she sighs, letting the sadness wash over her. “How do you assume that?” I ask her as I sit down on the bed, wanting to pull her into me but giving her the space that I’m assuming she needs.

“When I left the room today,” her voice is quiet and low as she continues to not look at me, “I noticed that across the hall… that was the first—” I know what she’s about to say so I nod my head. Across the hall was the room that they brought her to the first night that she came here. “I assumed at first that it must be… um… your room.” She whispers, finally looking up over to me. “So I snuck in.” I smirk at her. “Blaine came in—”

I interrupt her, “He told you it was where she was staying?” She nods her head. “He told you that’s where they all stayed?” She nods her head again and I can see the water filling her eyes, making my chest feel heavy. “Hey,” I whisper to her as I reach over and tilt her chin up so that she will look at me. “It’s not like that. I have no fucking clue what is happening, but I know that it’s different.”

  “How?”

“Because I let you get away.” I finally admit to her.

  “You didn’t let
me get away…” she pauses. I’m sure that my smirk tells her she’s wrong. “How?”

“I did things that I normally wouldn’t do.”

  “Like what?”

  “Letting my guard down.”

“You normally don’t do that?” She asks again.

“I never do that.” I shake my head at her. “Every time, you would fog my head and I would end up making careless mistakes that I never would normally do.”

“Like forcing a woman you’re trying to kidnap onto her knees.” It makes me laugh as I nod my head.

“It’s so much bigger than that and I don’t think kidnap is the right word.”

“Then what is?” She smiles up at me.

“Winning.” Cocking her head, I can’t help but chuckle. Her cheeks flush before she looks away again. “When I saw the purchase he made, we immediately left. There wasn’t a plan made beforehand. We weren’t prepared. We just left and showed up at the house hours later.”

“You let emotions rule your decisions. But why? You barely knew me.”

“I can’t explain it. Probably your fight. No one has ever pulled a knife on me. Let alone cut me.” I can see a slight smirk form on her lips. “You were right when you told me you are tougher than you look.”

“Still think you’ll destroy me?” Her question causes a short laugh to come out.

“Probably, but I’m going to try not to, which is more than I can say I’ve ever done for anyone else.” Her cheeks flush as she looks away and I feel a strange warming in my chest. “Are you feeling a little better?”

“No.” She groans before I see the smile drop completely from her face.

Sighing, I stand up, reaching out my hand to help her up. “Come on.”

“Where are we going?” She asks. I stare at her until she takes my hand and I pull her up, not letting it go when she stands up next to me before I pull her behind me out the door to her room, across the hall, into the guest bedroom. “What are we doing in here?” She plants her feet so I can no longer pull her behind me.
